Assassin's Creed Unveils Unexpected AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The storyline presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret sect.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Extra Material
Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Latest Free Story Addition
This release also brings the game's latest free story addition, titled "The Mystery."
